Acrylic painter Sydney D. Falkner, “Syd,” discovered her love for art as a child. Based in Wilmington, NC, she holds a B.A. in Interior Design and creates bold, colorful canvases full of energy and joy.

Syd enjoys the water with her husband, Cameron, their son, Wilson, and their Cavalier, Sir Raleigh. Her work appears in select Carolinas galleries, including GPrime Steakhouse and The Commodore Club, and she exhibited at Art Basel Miami in 2023. She accepts commissions and performs live paintings for events.

She recently opened a studio, gallery, and storefront in Wilmington’s Soda Pop District, featuring original art, prints, wearable pieces, and curated gifts. Represented by Oditto Gallery in Palm Beach, FL, her Palm Royale Collection celebrates coastal elegance, while her BY SYD brand expands into apparel and home accessories.
