Giovanna Gil Alves is a Uruguayan-Spanish artist working across painting, drawing, ceramics, and illustration. She believes creativity is innate but often suppressed, and has used art as her refuge since childhood. At 22, she left architecture studies to fully pursue art.

Her autobiographical work reflects her emotions and growth, inspired by people, nature, and everyday life. She continues refining her practice through international study, creating from her home studio.

Recognized by Uruguay’s Ministry of Education and Culture since 2023, she is also a writer featured in global anthologies. Her work invites others to reconnect with their inner artist and see art as a way of life.
